Castle Kennedy Gardens is delighted to host Way of the Wild Ranger Christy Miles for this new Willow Weaving event. Under her guidance, you will create a large, beautiful willow Dragonfly sculpture to display. This workshop will introduce you to the craft of willow weaving; no experience is necessary; this is perfect for newcomers and those with experience. Enjoy this relaxing and creative craft in the beautiful surroundings of Castle Kennedy Gardens. Includes all the materials, tea, coffee, and locally made cakes.
Please bring suitable outdoor clothing with you. Places are limited to 12 participants. NB a minimum of 4 places need to be booked for the event to go ahead. Christy Miles is a qualified Outdoor and Environmental Educationalist and is the owner operator of Way of the Wild. She is passionate about inspiring individuals to reconnect with the natural environment.
